Debenhams have advised us that on Wednesday the 17th February between 13:30 - 14:30 they will be updating their mailbox address used to send/receive data from suppliers. A change will be required for users of the Debenhams Kewill software who transmit data using an IBM (also known as GXS Information Exchange) mailbox. Users with an Xchange mailbox need take no action. The details below explain how you can verify the type of network/mailbox used and if necessary this straightforward change can be made. To find out if you need to make this change:- First to find out what network you are using please open the Kewill Konnexions application either from the Windows Start Menu/All programs/Kewill systems/knxv1s, or if you have a shortcut on your desktop of Knxv1s: The following screen will be displayed:-
From the main menu, select Mailboxes from the left-hand menu, which will display the following:-
If the code shown in the first column is "EXPWIN" as the image above you should continue to the next section, for any other codes no changes are required and the new mailbox details for Debenhams will be automatically picked-up. Updating the mailbox address:- From the main menu, select Partners from the left-hand menu, which will display the following:-
Select the open book icon from the menu bar, the following screen will be displayed:-
Select the option to "View/maintain aliases for this partner", this will display the following:-
Select the open book menu icon, which will show the update alias window:-
Update the entry in the "they are known as field" to be VANS.ORMAIL, so it matches the below. Then choose Ok.
Then close the application The next transmission will be sent to Debenhams' new mailbox. If you receive order data from Debenhams' new mailbox which shows as an "Unassociated" status in Konnexions, it will be necessary to complete the following steps in addition to the above to process the data:-
Any files received will be reprocessed in the system. This process only needs to be done once.
