Q. General SQL error on screen

Click OK on error message. Click on the Help button on the main menu (blue question mark button), click Search button, type the word 'reducing', press Enter, click Print button then follow instructions on the printed page. [top]


Q. Labels will not line up when printing

From main menu, click Utilities (Brush button), System Parameters (Toolkit button), Label Config option. From here you can adjust the print position of either your Box End or Micro Labels. [top]


Q. I have a Generation Check warning while processing a file

Make a careful note of the Last Generation Processed number and the Generation being processed number. Click on the button 'Continue Processing' and wait for file to complete processing before informing Kewill of the missing number, click here for contact details. [top]


Q. How often should I be performing backups of my Debenhams system.

Automatically, by using the following option. From the main menu, click Utilities (Brush button), System Parameters (Toolkit button), System Flags and ensure the Back up on Exit box is ticked. Now when you exit the program you will be prompted to perform the default backup. Always answer Yes to this question. [top]


Q. What do I do with orders which I have invoiced

Once you have finished with an order you can archive (hide) it from the main menu by clicking the Utilities (Brush button), click Archive button (Bookshelf button). Click on the order number(s) you want to archive on the list on the left hand side then click the arrow button pointing to the right hand side. Once you can see the message 'Archiving complete' at the top of this screen close back to the main menu. [top]

This is something you need to clarify with your Debenhams merchandiser - normally every Friday to receive orders the following week. [top]

Q. What do Debenhams mean by an ADAN

They mean the despatch message for an order created by Debenhams application. This message should reach Debenhams before your delivery so that they know what to expect. [top]


Q. What is a carton number

This is a sequential number which uniquely identifies each despatched unit and is generated by the Debenhams application. [top]
