To configure Konnexions for use outside of the UK, please carry out the following steps:

 Update Telephone Number List

1) Close all programs except for your Internet Browser.

2) Click here to download and run the AT&T telephone number update.

 Configure the AT&T Dialer

1) Run the AT&T Dialer (click Start > Programs > AT&T Dialer)

2) Click the "Setup" button on the AT&T Global Network – Login screen

3) Select "Review or change just modem and phone number settings", click Next

4) Click Next when prompted to select your modem, as this should already be configured correctly

5) On the "Where are you calling from?" screen, click "Dial Properties"

6) Check the details of your dial location – on some systems you will need to click “Edit” to view the dial location details. Ensure that the following details are correct:

Location Name – give the dial location a meaningful name, for example Office

Country / region – this needs to be the country that you are calling from, for example Germany

Area code – this is the area code for your telephone number, for example 01692

Dialing rules – if you need to dial a prefix (e.g. 9) to get an outside line then please ensure that this is set correctly for both Local and Long Distance calls

When all the details are correct click OK (you may need to click OK again to return to the Dialer Setup)

7) Back at the "Where are you calling from?" screen, click the first "Change" button

8) Select your country from the Country / Region list.

9) From the list of Cities and Phone numbers, select either the first "Nationwide" number or the city nearest to you and click OK.

10) Back at the "Where are you calling from?" screen click the second "Change" button

11) From the list of Cities and Phone numbers, select either the second "Nationwide" number or another city in your region (different from the one selected above) and click OK.

12) Click Finish
