Error 46 – Incorrect BT EDI*NET ID or password

When receiving the above error, please follow these instructions to try to resolve the problem:

1) Check the BT EDI*NET Driver setup

2) Reverse the Data Transparency Check box (in the BT EDI*NET Driver setup)

3) In Konnexions click on ‘Setup’ and choose ‘Mailbox’

4) ‘Double click’ the mailbox that has a code of ‘BTWINC’

5) On the “BT Communications Setup” screen either check or uncheck the Data Transparency field

6) Click ‘Next’ all the way through and click ‘Finish’, then close the mailbox window

7) If modem is external switch off for approximately 10 seconds, then switch back on

8) Shut down and reboot the PC

9) Try linking once again.
