Error 24 – BTEDI*NET Driver did not receive a response from your modem when sending the modem reset string.

When receiving the above error, it usually means that the user has terminated the connection before it has had a chance to complete properly. If this is not the case please carry out these instructions to try to resolve the problem:

1) If your modem is External, turn the power off for 10 seconds

2) If your modem is Internal, close all programs and reboot the PC

In both above cases, when the modem has been reset simply try connecting once again.

If this still does not resolve the issue then carry out the following:

1) In Konnexions click on ‘Setup’ and select ‘Mailboxes’

2) Double click on the mailbox with the code of ‘BTWINC’ and click ‘Next’ through to the ‘Modem’ screen

3) Change the Initialise string to ‘AT&F’ and the reset string to ‘ATH’, making a note of what the original strings are

4) Click ‘Next’ through to and including ‘Finish’, then close the mailbox window

5) Once again reset your modem, by either of the above means and try another link
