Error 21 – BT EDI*NET Driver was unable to communicate with a modem attached to the selected com port (modem not ready) Please carry out these instructions to try to resolve the problem: 1) Ensure the modem is switched on 2) Check the modem is physically connected to the com port specified in the BT EDI*NET Driver 3) Check the cables between the modem and PC ensuring that they are connected 4) If your modem is External, turn the power off for 10 seconds 5) If your modem is Internal, close all programs and reboot the PC When the modem has been reset simply try connecting once again. If this still does not resolve the issue then carry out the following: 1) In Konnexions click on ‘Setup’ and select ‘Mailboxes’ 2) Double click on the mailbox with the code of ‘BTWINC’ and click ‘Next’ through to the ‘Modem’ screen 3) Change the Initialise string to ‘AT&F’ and the reset string to ‘ATH’, making a note of what the original strings are 4) Click ‘Next’ through to and including ‘Finish’, then close the mailbox window 5) Once again reset your modem, by either of the above means and try another link If you still experience problems after following these instructions, please don’t hesitate to contact Kewill for further assistance. |
