
Error 26990 : Negative acknowledgement received

If you encounter the above error, please carry out the
following steps to resolve:
1) In Konnexions click on ‘Setup’ and select
‘Mailboxes’
2) Make sure the EXPWIN mailbox is highlighted and click on the open book
button
3) Click next until you reach the ‘General’ window
4) If the Commit Size and/or Block Size are different to the above on
your own system, please amend it to read the same as above
5) Click ‘Next’ and then click ‘Finish’
6) Close the Mailbox window
7) Click on ‘Utilities’ and select ‘Reset Session’
8) Click ‘OK’ when the message appears stating that the session
has been reset
9) Finally reset the modem and try linking once again
If after connecting your Outbox flashes green, carry
out the following steps to send the file:
1) Open the Outbox and ‘left click’ on the
message to highlight it
2) ‘Right click’ on the message and set the status to ‘Unsent’
3) Close the Outbox and link again
If the same error appears it will now become necessary
to try another modem to see if this works.
If the problem persists even after trying another modem, please contact
the Support Team for further assistance.
