Error 14050 – Syntax error when trying to connect.

When receiving the above error, please follow these instructions to try to resolve the problem:

1) Make sure the modem is plugged in to the PC and wall socket
2) Shut down and reboot the PC
3) If modem is external switch off for approximately 10 seconds, then switch back on
4) In Konnexions click on ‘Utilities’ and select ‘Reset Session’
5) Right click on any of the messages in your ‘Outbox’ and select ‘Arrange Columns’
6) Highlight ‘Msg No’ and click on ‘Make Visible’ then click the green tick
7) Make a note of any ‘Unsent’ messages by writing down the ‘Message Number’
8) Highlight any unsent messages in your ‘Outbox’, right click on them and select ‘Set Status To’ then ‘Sent’
9) When everything has a status of ‘Sent’, close the ‘Outbox’ and link

Once the link has completed without any further errors, go back into the Outbox and carry out the following to send the original messages that were waiting to be sent:

1) Highlight the message, then right click on it and select ‘Set Status To’, change it back to ‘Unsent’

After changing the status’s of these back to unsent, simply link once again which should send them.
