
How To - Enter IBM passwords after they have
been reset
This article describes how to enter your IBM Information
Exchange password and your AT&T Global Network password after they
have been reset by Kewill.
If you connect to IBM three times with the wrong password,
your mailbox will be locked. Please contact
us to have your passwords reset.
Entering the AT&T dialer password
If Kewill have informed you that your AT&T password
(previously know as the Information Global Network password) has been
reset, follow the instructions below:
1) Run the AT&T Dialer (Start > Programs >
AT&T Dialer)
2) If you have more than one IBM mailbox, ensure that
the correct mailbox is selected from the Login profile list.
3) Delete the old password (shown as *******) from
the Password entry field and enter your new password (as provided
by Kewill).
Note:
DO NOT press the Change button.
4) Ensure that Save password is ticked and
then click the Connect button. The dialer will connect to the
AT&T network.
5) Wait until the dialer has successfully connected
and the AT&T Global Network - Login screen disappears.
6) Disconnect from AT&T by closing the AT&T
Global Network - [Network View] window and clicking Yes when asked
if you want to disconnect.
Your AT&T password has now been set.
Entering the IBM Information Exchange password
If Kewill have informed you that your IBM Information
Exchange password has been reset, follow the instructions below:
For Konnexions v1s...
1) Run Konnexions v1s
2) Select Mailboxes
3) Open the entry for your IBM mailbox (either double-click
the entry or click on the Open button at the top of the screen)
5) Click Next (on the first page of the Mailbox
setup wizard).
6) Enter your new password (as provided by Kewill)
in the Password entry field.
7) Click Next three times and then click Finish.
Your IBM Information Exchange password has now been set
and you are ready to link as normal using Konnexions v1s.
For Konnexions v1c...
1) Run the System Administration program (Start
> Programs > Extract for Windows > System Administration).
2) From the EDI Setup menu select IBM
Mailboxes
3) Click the Edit button
4) Enter your new password in both the entry fields
labeled Password
5) Click the OK button to save the changes
6) Close the System Administration program
Your IBM Information Exchange password has now been set
and you are ready to link as normal using Konnexions v1c.
