256986 Description of the Microsoft Windows Registry

If you have installed the new AT&T dialer (version 5 or above) then the AT&T Dialer and Expedite Base may remain open after connecting to IBM. Control is not returned to Konnexions and hence other scheduled tasks or associated actions may not run.

Konnexions v1 is designed to work only with version 4.27 of the AT&T Dialer. We recommend that you do not upgrade to the newer version, even if the dialer alerts you to the existence of a new version and asks if you want to download it.

To resolve this problem, please follow the steps below:

WARNING: If you use Registry Editor incorrectly, you may cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. Kewill cannot guarantee that you can solve problems that result from using Registry Editor incorrectly. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.

1) Close all programs
2) Run regedit
3) Locate the entry "My Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Inverse\AccessRamp\"
4) Highlight the IBM entry and press the Delete key
5) Select Yes when asked Are you sure you want to delete this key?
6) Close regedit
7) Run Konnexions and link as normal

If the problem persists, please contact the Support Team for further assistance.
