AT&T Error - Gateway was unable to send an encryption key

When attempting to link via Konnexions an error of 19060 is returned; the actual error reported by the AT&T dialer is similar to the error shown below:

"Error ? was returned from the 152.158.100.70 gateway when the encryption key was requested. Your login cannot be completed at this time. The gateway was unable to send an encryption key.
Please try again in a moment or contact customer support."

If you receive this error, please follow the steps below. After each step try connecting with the AT&T dialer; if you still encounter the error then progress to the next step:

1) Remove the AT&T Global Network dialup networking phone book entry (click here for information on how to do this).

2) Try reducing the speed of your modem (click here for information on how to do this).
