Error 19082 - Incorrect Network Password

Your AT&T network password has been entered incorrectly.

Before proceeding please ensure that you know the correct password. If you are unsure what your password is then please refer to the following article:

 Correcting the Network Password

To correct your AT&T network password, follow the instructions below:

1) Run the AT&T Dialer (Start > Programs > AT&T Dialer)

2) If you have more than one IBM mailbox, ensure that the correct mailbox is selected from the Login profile list.

3) Delete the old password (shown as *******) from the Password entry field and enter your correct password.

Note: DO NOT press the Change button.

4) Ensure that Save password is ticked and then click the Connect button. The dialer will connect to the AT&T network.

5) Wait until the dialer has successfully connected and the AT&T Global Network - Login screen disappears. If you receive an error when attempting to connect then please refer to information relating to Password Entered Incorrectly (below).

6) Disconnect from AT&T by closing the AT&T Global Network - [Network View] window and clicking Yes when asked if you want to disconnect.

Your AT&T password has now been set correctly and you should be able to link as normal using Konnexions.

 Password Entered Incorrectly

When connecting directly with the AT&T dialer... If your password has been entered incorrectly then you will receive an error from the AT&T dialer similar to that shown below:

It is essential that you enter the password correctly. After three failed password attempts your mailbox will be locked and you will receive an error similar to the following:

"Too many attempts were made to login with the wrong password. Contact customer support or your account administrator to have your password reset."

If this happens then please contact us to get your password reset.
