Konnexions v1s - Uninstalling (reverting back to Scheduler Pro)

If you need to uninstall Konnexions v1s and revert back to Scheduler Pro then please follow the steps below:

1) Open Windows Explorer

2) Find the folder C:\WINLINK

3) Rename C:\WINLINK to C:\KNXV1S (i.e. select the WINLINK folder, press F2 and type KNXV1S and press [Enter])

4) Find the folder C:\wlinkbck

5) Rename C:\wlinkbck to C:\WINLINK

6) Minimise all windows

7) Right-click on the Windows desktop and select New > Shortcut

8) When prompted for the location of the item, enter C:\WINLINK\WINLINK.EXE

9) Click Next

10) When prompted for the shortcut name enter Scheduler Pro

11) Click Finish

12) Delete the Konnexions v1s icon from your desktop

You can now use this new Scheduler Pro shortcut to run Scheduler. If Scheduler previously launched automatically when you switched your computer on, you will need to create a shortcut in your start-up group, as follows:

1) Right-click on the Windows Start button (bottom left of screen)

2) Click Explore

3) Double-click Programs

4) Double-click Startup

5) Right-click in the Starup folder and select New > Shortcut

6) When prompted for the location of the item, enter C:\WINLINK\WINLINK.EXE

7) Click Next

8) When prompted for the shortcut name enter Scheduler Pro

9) Click Finish

10) Delete the Konnexions v1s icon from the startup folder

If you still experience problems after following these instructions, please don’t hesitate to contact Kewill and advise of the same or new error.

IMPORTANT: During September 2003 the old method of connecting to IBM will be removed and you will no longer be able to connect to the IBM network using Scheduler Pro. You must upgrade to Konnexions as soon as possible.
